For this project, we were given the copy for a book that we had to design a cover for. We could not change the copy at all, but we could rearrange it on the page however we wished. It was important to experiment with different layouts, type sizes, and hierarchies. In the end, we were to have 3 layouts (1 with 1 type size, another with 2, and a final with 3). Once the layouts were approved black and white fields were introduced and then finally color.

These mockups are designed to help understand what the designs would look like if they were printed.

Book Covers are 8.5"x11”
